Dr. Geremie Palombaro, DO, MS, FAOCOOHNS
Experience and Education
Dr. Palombaro is a board-certified physician — who grew up in nearby Vestal, NY, and is thrilled to return to practice in his home region with Sambursky Eye and Esthetics. He studied biology at Binghamton University and earned his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Palombaro furthered his education with both an internship at University Hospital in Cleveland, where he focused on internal medicine, and an ophthalmology residency at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he was named chief resident.
After finishing his residency, Dr. Palombaro was accepted into an oculoplastic and facial reconstruction fellowship affiliated with El Paso Children’s Hospital and University Medical Center of El Paso. There, he trained with some of the nation’s most respected facial plastic surgeons, otolaryngologists, dermatologic surgeons, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, and oculoplastic surgeons.
Dr. Palombaro has contributed to a variety of research publications, including the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. He has been honored with a number of awards, including Top Ophthalmologist New York and Pennsylvania, and Top 10 Best Plastic Surgeons New York and Pennsylvania.
